The Take Good Care Set
When it’s time to kick back and relax, one of the first things we do is toss our hair up and light a candle, so we had to create a set that incorporated the most crucial steps in our self-care ritual. Enter: our Take Good Care set. Here’s the 411…
The first step is selecting your candle. If you’re on the fence fragrance-wise, trust us when we say you can’t really go wrong on that front, and just select the color that will be most well-suited to your home.
For a quick refresher you can read more about our core four scents below:
The next component to our Take Good Care set is a luxurious scrunchie (designed to match your candle, of course!). We’re all about the scrunchie trend--not only are they super chic, but the smooth 100% silk charmeuse on ours helps to prevent breakage and damage to your hair.
We partnered with CFDA Accessories Award nominee and longtime friend, Gigi Burris, to hand sew our custom scrunchies designed to match our candles. She’s the best milliner in NYC and has created toppers for the likes of Rihanna, Bella Hadid, and even Minnie Mouse, so you know they’re good!
We’re never without one, and we know you’ll love them too.
A candle’s nothing without a flame, and to light ours, we knew we wanted only the very best. We wanted something that felt substantial — a well-crafted lighter that would serve as an intentional addition to the home, rather than a cheap, disposable afterthought.
We landed on a partner based in Tokyo, Japan that has been in the lighter business since the 1950s, creating what we think are the chicest lights available (they’ve partnered with everyone from Supreme to Saint Laurent.)
Designed to pair perfectly with any or all of our candles, this gold metal piece will be right at home on your coffee table. We think it looks like a piece of jewelry! We also can’t get enough of the measured, old-school ritual of filling the lighter with fluid.
It’s worth noting that Gigi’s scrunchies and our lighters are only available in our Take Good Care set. Order yours here and be sure to share your Take Good Care photos with us over on Instagram (we’re @nette.nyc.)
